I would have to say that my experience started in the late 90's when were first learned how to publish on the web using HTML and FTP, but in 2006 when I discovered blogging tool I quickly knew that a new digital portfolio platform had been born. The blog platform and the routines we had for using them made this possible.

Every year, TpT holds a conference to share ideas with teacher-authors on how to build their stores, develop their platform, and make money off of their passion. And, as longtime readers know, I’ve struggled mightily with the lack of engagement, interaction, and visibility of writing for academic audiences versus what I can accomplish in practitioner outlets, on my blog, with multimedia, on other social media platforms, etc. Some faculty members are like race horses out of the gate.
