After a semester long pilot program with the senior class during the spring of 2011, we rolled out our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program to the entire student body in September. We began using ClassLink late in the spring, but are extremely excited about the promise that this solution holds to enhance the teaching and learning culture of our school through BYOD. But through a pilot program we discovered that the focus of our professional development around BYOD needed to not be on technology. Not only do they have a huge archive of curriculum resources, they also have videos, webinars and more. Many of our teachers were trained knowing they would gradually ease into BYOD.
