All are welcome to participate at the level and to the extent that make sense for their own individual learning goals, but we encourage a deep dive. MOOC Ends August 17.

Here is my Unit 2 reflection for the MOOC-Ed, Coaching Digital Learning: Cultivating a Culture of Change. Unit 2 focuses on the development of your PLN (Professional Learning Network) and becoming a "Connected Educator". For example, I enjoy using Twitter for the educational Twitter chats.

One of the things that I truly appreciate is all of the amazing educators on Twitter sharing glimpses into their classrooms and professional learning days, making great things happen as the norm in their schools, not the exception. Now do these things happen in every school, all of the time? But they do happen way too much.

Notes from the Discussion We no longer have to go to school if we want to learn. edX - www.edex.org - MOOC site, courses are all free, people who teach the courses are from Harvard, MIT, Berkeley, University of Texas, etc. Coursera is another option for higher ed MOOCS.
