I think, for the most part, everyone strives for success. We want to be successful in our professional as well as our personal lives. I strived to be the best possible principal for my students, staff, and community. Whether I was successful is a matter of perspective. My evaluations seemed to support the fact that I might have been. I was far from perfect, but always strived for constant improvement.

Family STEAM Night Cardboard Challenge

Recently, Chattanooga Christian Lower School hosted our second "Family STEAM Night." This evening was a cardboard arcade challenge that was inspired by Caine's Arcade Global Challenge. We started the evening off with all family members watching the video about Caine and his arcade and the movement that it created (see right). We then told the families they had 30-40 minutes to create an arcade game and that we would play each other's games for the rest of the time.

Another glimpse of European higher education and technology

Last week I had the honor of addressing a European Union higher education meeting in Malta. I actually presented three times, each session offering a different cut of my thoughts on the future of education and technology.
