So here is my reflections on 2010 and my predictions for 2011. There was a lot of buzz about it every now and then on Twitter but I still don''t see it''s widespread adoption as a great storytelling tool and feedback tool. Think about it in a lower elementary classroom. How did I do? Very easy and lots of potential.

The Blended Classroom ( Jonathan Bergman ) One of the "founding fathers" of reverse instruction , Jon Bergman has some innovative ideas that are spreading like wildfire around the country. He is currently working on a book along with his partner, Aaron Sams, fleshing out the benefits of flipping the classroom. It''s quite a list!

2011 – I worked with Senators and the State Department in Washington DC to help fund a global Virtual School installment for International Schools to use in case of an emergency. For example, the iPhone was only 3 years old and smartphones were just taking off in 2010. Lessons Learned: 1. Every assignment must be rethought.

As the legend goes … It was the middle of the night on July 11, 2011. I had been podcasting for about a year already supporting the Apple community as one more podcaster talking weekly about their iPhones and favorite apps. I was just reaching out to random strangers on Twitter to introduce myself and they gave me a chance.

My iPhone is a computer, and it’s natural to take notes on it. So before we resumed the meeting, I told him that I had been taking notes on my phone, and not using it to text or check Twitter or any other social media. I believe this applies to classrooms and in employment). I’m a digital native.
