There are valid reasons for using QR Codes in your classroom or as a teacher-author: High Capacity – they store a lot more data, allowing you to share real content and not just IDs or references. Some phones and mobile devices come with QR coders already installed. To find one for mobile devices, check the Android or App store.

I love that this works with their individual mobile phone cameras. Additionally, even if we are only working on mobile devices, students can make a full video with b-roll and music on any of their devices. To access these features, just toggle from Auto to Pro. It uses film that was preloaded in the program. One app… any device.

But it is a pen — if you use the Bluetooth version — that will automatically hook into your iOS or Android device. When you start writing with the pen, it automatically then downloads that note to your iOS or Android device. You use their paper. Their paper is almost on par price with regular paper.

When you scan the cube with your mobile device — it will work with an iPhone, an iPad, and it works with Android, but you have to have the Merge Cube app on it. Her roots are as an elementary classroom teacher where she utilized technology as an integrated part of the learning environment. Those codes serve as a trigger.
