There are a lot of options if you want to bring programmable robots to your classroom. It is a build-a-robot kit designed to introduce children ages six and up to coding and robotics as well as the fun of problem-solving and creative thinking. If I were to rate myself with robotics, I might be closer to a 5 than a 10.

They are collaborating in Google Docs with their partners out of town. For his birthday, his parents helped him upgrade to an iPhone 7 because of the camera quality. Artists can use graphic tablets, software, or apps. Hands-on makers might like robots, a subscription to Make Magazine, or something to build.

The latest virtual reality headsets were enjoyed by many who were fascinated by how low cost headsets, combined with iPhones or Android phones could create such rich and immersive experiences. Google Cardboard was on show, but so were other alternatives. Personally, I can't wait. Unported License.

I shared the stage that day in Iceland with a person who gave their talk on how, in the future, robots will love us -- how they will take care of us in our old age; how they will teach our classes; how they will raise our children. Robots aren't coming for your jobs, but management may well be. Why do you? Why the rush to mechanize?

Yes - I use to set up Google Apps domains for Principals when I was still a teacher. Yes - I really love enhancing the curriculum in classes with laptops, tablets, coding and robots. Very recently I was around some teachers and I could hear their chatter about technology, iPads, their iPhones etc.
