In groups-- the Socrative space race is great for this! I like Edmodo best for traditional administering of tests. The gradebook feature and automatic scoring save me time and all tests are time-stamped and teachers can set a limit on how long to take the test. As of now, Edmodo tests cannot be taken through the app.

We agreed to do a book together, explore poetry, and have our students connect through the app Edmodo. Students created videos, asked questions of each other, and learned about how schools look in different parts of the world. Our fifth grade used the Wonder Workshop robots for a variety of lessons across the curriculum.

I refuse to give them the answer for how to get an A. Don''t just be a robot following commands. Round-robin group evaluations where students obtain 3 total critiques on the same assignment from different people. My next task is to figure out how to evolve this into a paperless and tech-y format. Google docs? Google form?

Of great utility to curious students is a series of over 400 video shorts (most two-five minutes) on topics such as robots, ancient civilizations, and nature — all searchable by topic and date. To use this site, students filter by their age group and then by the type of information they seek — videos, games, or PDF.

Learners will also study zSpace interactions, including how a user can manipulate objects in stereoscopic 3D.
