STLinATL is an exciting education conference hosted at Woodward Academy in Atlanta this summer July 26-27. I’ll be speaking along with Jay McTighe, Dr. Janet Zanida, Suzie Boss and more at this affordable conference ($295 including meals and conference attendance.). This year’s ISTE Conference was all about technology-charged learning–and from the keynotes and sessions to the fast-paced exhibit hall, the conference’s more than 20,000 attendees (15,000 educators plus expo hall staff) were immersed in just that. In all, ISTE 2017 produced 159,000 tweets from people across the U.S.

I believe and include in the bio I share for conference presentations and PD consults that one of the major responsibilities of the modern day educator is to share resources, learning activities, thoughts, and insights with other educators. I had a book on maker education published by ASCD. I really love the maker movement.
