Available free in the App Store , and in beta for Google Play and the Amazon Appstore , Kahn Academy Kids , offers thousands of opportunities for learning as animated animals guide children to original, leveled and adaptive activities, books, video, and lessons.

For hosting content, Rizzi suggested Google Classroom , Edmodo , Padlet and Tes Teach. Google Classroom and Edmodo are great tools for providing information to students and you can interact with the kids in a safe way. She uses BrainPOP , Khan Academy , Edpuzzle and Screencast-O-Matic for video lessons.

She posts assignments to Google Classroom, they often use shared docs and sheets to complete group work, and they post research information using Padlet and Wakelet. Scholastic Scope magazine always has intriguing nonfiction articles for the students to read. The students in Paige’s classes use technology daily. INFUSING TECH.

A big shout out to EdTech Magazine for recognizing this blog on its 2017 Honor Roll. Check out this wonderful magazine for some great K12 educational articles, I will be presenting at Alan November’s BLC in Boston in July. All content is stored in Google docs. Khan Academy – One cannot forget the Khan Academy.

We will be looking at everything from books, to Google Docs and Sites, to FlipGrid to help us make goal-setting meaningful and engaging to our students. . But sometimes it’s nice to just keep work in the Google family, so I’ll use Google Drawings (similar to Padlet). And it comes from Google itself.
