In school subscriptions, quizzes are available to assess student basic comprehension skills. Most books are only available through the website or a link to the website.

To date, these statistics are: 140 million+ lessons delivered, 500 million+ exercises done, and 6+ million unique visits per month. The Khan Academy site now contains over 3000 videos mapped to the Common Core and associated assessments that allow learners to practice and reinforce skills acquired through the videos. And they do.

Time does not stand still however, so we need to assess where we are in order to adjust and move forward. The greatest problem exposed is the digital divide caused by the economic divide. Zip codes still determine quality of education even more in a digital system. It is not a passive exercise.
