Sometimes in the Hyperdoc then, you can do like a flipped classroom type of thing, where they can access the Hyperdoc. I used to have kids take a picture with their phone or with their iPad of the board of what they were supposed to do for FlipGrid that night, and they’d then have to access that at home. They can reflect on it.

Another center had the classroom’s six laptops to work on English-language learning skills. A third center used three iPads that the teacher has gotten through Donors Choose. Her classroom was, and remains, a lively and engaged place for learning across many platforms. This teacher is not limited by a fixed mindset.

In my time on social media the iPad, smartphones, 1:1 laptops, 1:1 chromebooks, Flipped classrooms, STEM, Rigor, and many other initiatives were introduced to education. One’s follow list needs to be constantly updated to accommodate those who drop off the stream.
