Their products are wireless, Bluetooth- and/or USB-connectable, and their SPARKvue software runs on Mac and Windows platforms, Chromebooks, iPads, iPhones, and Android. In fact, it took me less than five minutes to unbox, setup, find the power button, and sync to the free app/software on my laptop and my iPhone. Plug it in to charge.

To get started, a student will just scan the room using his or her digital device (like an iPad, iPhone, or Droid) before starting.

Using the free app, students can tape a live lecture, a Skype call, an online webinar on their iPhone or iPad (or directly to the software), transfer it to their dashboard where they can transcribe, annotate, highlight, edit, format, add to, delete, or simply play it back for reference. This is a robust tool with a rich learning curve.
