Project Pals connects with Google Classroom but also lets me see detail on which students are contributing and participating.

On top of that, there is promise for continued education outside of the classroom; just look at Google’s recent $1B pledge over the next five years to help train Americans for jobs in technology. schools will give way to an increased focus on STEM and coding in schools, reinvigorating the “maker movement.”

If I hadn’t asked this question, I never would have known that someone in our classroom was wondering about Braille. You could make a Google slide.

Leah: Well, some of the best tools that I’ve used in the classroom are those that simply enhance the student’s voice. It might be typing up your notes in a Google Doc. But using the picture and then even using videos from the classroom, and have them use slow-motion and watch it over and over and over again. Whatever works.
