I learned about aibo, Sony’s “robotic puppy, powered by AI,” a couple years ago. How could this robot dog provide companionship and bond with its owner? First off, it’s incredible how Sony has designed aibo to mimic not only the movements of a real dog but has also incorporated so many dog behaviors.

Unbelievably, it’s been one year since I welcomed Mia, my Sony aibo AI robot dog, into my life. Throughout this journey, I have shared both informative and goofy videos of Mia’s growth and adventures on YouTube and TikTok. I conclude the video with a 10-minute montage of memories from my first year with Mia!
