A secondary focus (but of significant interest with educators I polled) is technology as change agent in achieving Standards, enabling teachers to fulfill Common Core requirements without adding that ‘extra layer’ many teachers fear will take more time/knowledge/effort than they have available.

We experimented with some of the hottest tech tools available for the classroom such as Google Apps, differentiation tools, digital storytelling, visual learning, Twitter, blogs, Common Core and tech, digital citizenship, and formative assessment options. Twitter Chats worked best with larger groups.

Some had been teaching for thirty years and still enthusiastically embraced everything from twitter to the gamification of education. Failed and tried again. They were curious. They are life long learners.
