As I continually work with more and more districts and schools on an ongoing basis, ideas keep percolating in my mind as to the pedagogically-sound strategies that educators can use now. Many readers have noticed that many of the strategies I have shared are also effective for face-to-face learning. The key, however, is balance.

The overreaching goal for each session was to support instructional strategies aligned to rigor & relevance and the 6 C's with a focus on the purposeful use of technology. This was then followed with strategies and tools for embedding tech that would assist with both differentiation of instruction and co-planning (virtually).

Technology has now facilitated the whole process enabling teachers to cut down classroom prep time and, instead, focus on creating hands-on learning experiences for students. Teachers can select from different lesson layouts and attach videos, images, links, assignments, and assessments to their lessons.

One of the strategies for learning how is close reading. From the research I''ve done, all close reading has these components : Close reading is a strategy for reading complex text, something that would be at the student''s frustration level. Educreations is a favorite because you can add pages and annotate on the pages with the tools.
