I purchased iPads for each of my administrators to collect the walkthrough data and then we demoed multiple programs to see which was the best fit for us. What is great about their tool is that it is research-based, customizable to our needs, and has a free app for the iPad. The conference will be held on Saturday October 2, 2010.

Chowdhury’s plan in Physics was for students to use their iPads/tablets and create screen casts of them solving a dynamics problem with details of every step. He used an app on his iPad called Educreations to create the lesson. Students came into class on Digital Learning Day and were given an assignment that needed to be completed.

He had connected an iPad to a wireless AppleTV and the television to a computer projector. This allowed the teacher to instruct his students using the iPad. The wireless connection between the iPad and the Apple TV gave him the freedom to move around his classroom. My college students really enjoyed using it.
