Students complete assignments whether it’s homework, class work, projects and tests all online using various websites, such as, Edmodo, Tumblr and Instagram on their BYOD devices. They also use their smart phones, iPads, iPods and digital cameras to take notes or to capture information. Smith’s science class has gone paperless.

Edmodo''s quiz feature is a versatile tool that saves teachers time. I use Edmodo Quizzes for assessing students'' knowledge acquisition, practicing PARCC related digital literacy skills, and demonstrating students'' application of knowledge learned through out the marking period. Edmodo also banks all questions that teachers create.

Edmodo, Curriculet, and Google Drive are essential to productive workflow in my class. Essentially, this is what I do: Organize students into classes on Edmodo with all resources, agendas, links to edtech tools, assignments, and quizzes are completed in Edmodo. Edmodo Edmodo is my online classroom space.

Drop It To Me is a great Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) tool because it works on any computer or device with a web browser. This is particularly useful with sets of shared iPads. This made for a disaster when collecting photos from iPads and iPhones. More Information and Tips Drop It To Me can improve the workflow in a classroom.

Best Free Web Tool: Socrative We are launching iPads in limited settings in my school district, and our teachers were extremely excited when we introduced the Socrative student response platform to them. tools such as Edmodo, Skype, Twitter, and Second Life. Accounts are easy to set up and quizzes are easy to create.
