Put it this way: I place my phone in front of a science exhibit and my phone’s screen displays all data relevant to the exhibit. The Microsoft HoloLens and Google Glass, for example, are both wearable AR devices which work by projecting a set of images, video and sound output while the user wears a device on his/her head.

I use Curriculet''s data analytics for formative assessment-- my students are allowed to make mistakes without too much penalty. Google Drive Google Docs has replaced Microsoft Word in my classroom. We will have access to Microsoft 365 this year, but the simplicity and versatility of Google Apps have won my students over.

Microsoft also has an online suite of tools that offer the same features as Google. These include, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawing, Sites, Forms, Jamboard, Classroom, and Meet. Adults and kids may sometimes even share personal identifiable data via Google Drive. You can live in harmony with both Google and Microsoft. I’m currently toying with creating google slides, exporting them to ppt and using Microsoft Mix to create videos which works great. Le sigh… 2. There is no why).

It felt even more amazing to quickly create a form to capture data for our Campus principals and have them in awe that such information could be captured so fast. We aren’t even a Microsoft district. We aren’t even a Microsoft district. We have BYOD, which is problematic at times if we are truly honest.
