Both the math and reading sessions focused on how edtech could be used during independent work, formative assessment, and pedagogically-sound blended learning.

Explain Everything (iOS, Android and Chromebooks) and Educreations (iOS and the web) are similar tools with a whiteboard you can add pdfs, images, drawings, shapes, colors, text, audio, and more! You can even quickly add captions in multiple languages to your screencasts.

As I have seen the boom in EdTech over the recent years in our district, I have really paid attention to the technology tools that are available to help our ELL students succeed. These tools are nothing new in the world of technology, but as more students are able to access technology in the classroom they should not be overlooked.
