I was over in one of the elementary schools the other day, and three years ago we were all in awe and kind of gaga about a high school student who was all in with drones, and sort of building and flying, and learning about aviation and drones with his high school peers. Drones in the Classroom. He’s actually been back, He’s taking a gap year.

She, I just found out, was MACUL 2017 Tech Using Teacher of the Year. My favorite one is one called [Galactic] Explorer , which is a solar system. It actually looks like you’re holding a spinning solar system in your hands. My favorite one is the one about the solar system. Your favorite thing is the solar system.

However, although the functional teaching objectives of this lesson are to onboard students as quickly as possible into the software and systems they’ll be using, the relational teaching objective is to help me know at least one thing they love. It really hit me in 2017 when I noticed Raymond Chambers , who dances in his classroom.

Date: November 9, 2017. Obviously, schools as systemic structures need to change quite a bit.
