The 7th grade course is in part devoted to document layout and design (headers, footers, table of content, etc.) For example, one morning I saw a group of parent volunteers reading, in Spanish, to the elementary age children. The open design allows for collaborative learning that extends beyond the walls of the classroom.

One of the things shared was the list of "tried and true" technology usage by grade level at our elementary school. They are assigned a topic and divided into specific groups (as known as typical collaborative learning groups.) We are working on students taking responsibility for their learning. She rocked it!
