The time to implement digital portfolios is at the start of the course. Students can use an Assessing my Assessment sheet to reflect on their growth and identify areas for improvement. For one course my students used Pinterest for their portfolios and Prezi , Voicethread , and Capzles for their final reflections.

The game is a way to begin synthesizing material from the beginning of the course through to the end. If they were doing this on paper, I really wouldn’t be able to assess this until after class if I collected their papers. Of course, I circulate the room constantly and look at what students are doing, saying, and writing.

The Intersection of Project Share, BYOD, and PBL #SXSWedu

Used a visioning document by TASA. Rebecca King , Director of Teaching and Learning 9th Grade Academy students are all using Project Share for eportfolios. Courses and groups are used to communicate with students, classmates, and teachers. Decides on what will be assessed at the end and how it will be assessed.
