Almost all of the PreK to 12 programming clustered in the Little America hotel, while the post-secondary, workforce training and company suites clustered in the more opulent Grand America across the street. This split was almost reinforced physically, in a way. Perhaps that’s a sign of where the dollars and funders are gravitating these days.

In May 2021, Think College Now elementary students sit in class after returning to in-person learning. Inside Castlemont’s media center in May 2021, Chromebook carts are completely empty. In the early days of the pandemic, every Chromebook on campus was lent out to students during remote learning.

The Perfect Storm In 2014, Beaverson PS passed a bond with significant amount dedicated to technology and by 2016, Beaverton had 32,000 Chromebooks and 10,000 iPads being used in the district. 1 at the elementary level.
