To further the mission of closing the Digital Divide for students across the United States, each grant recipient will receive up to $25,000, which they may use for any combination of Kajeet Education Broadband solutions, including WiFi hotspots, school bus WiFi, LTE-embedded Chromebooks and routers.

In May 2021, Think College Now elementary students sit in class after returning to in-person learning. The homework gap isn’t new.

Waterford.org initially launched a pilot program in Mississippi in 2017. Hammitte, a former elementary teacher who is now in his first year as superintendent, said he noticed that kids who participated in Waterford Upstart arrived with strong early literacy skills.
