Our first openly licensed college textbook was published in 2012, and our library since scaled to more than 20 books for college and AP courses used by hundreds of thousands of students. It’s difficult to find an OER initiative that doesn’t make use of their materials.

Here’s another hint: they haven’t created a new open textbook since 2012. Although they would eventually change their model to focus on traditionally copyrighted textbooks, FWK’s over 100 openly licensed textbooks can still be found archived around the web in places like the Open Textbook Library and the Saylor Foundation’s website.
