I remember being that shy little girl in my elementary class who would sometimes know the answer, or had a question, but didn’t feel comfortable speaking out. Our students now in elementary school have never had a time in their lives where mobile technology wasn't present. I used to experience so much test anxiety.

A few weeks ago, I made a commitment to visit schools that are using social media, smartphones, texting, and other digital technologies, as a vital part of daily classroom instruction. Principal Sheninger obviously sees that social media and students bringing in their own technology are great educational tools.
