Now, you're probably wondering how YouTube could possibly be used to capture your learning in a Personal Learning Environment (PLE). This idea came to me after my daughter explained how she was using her YouTube Channel. Her school does not have a formal music program. She studied piano outside of school for 4 years.

That means that when you learn, you do it differently to everyone else. If you are a student you may be sat in the same classroom or lecture hall as many other students, and listening to the same content, but you interpret it differently to everyone else. The PLE is an approach rather than a technology. Nobody else is like you.
