A one year subscription for educators is $35. I used Camtasia Studio on my PC to record the uploaded video while playing it from the AdobeVoice website. Camtasia is not a free program, but there are other screencast recording tools out there that could probably be used. Time to find out what all the fuss is about!

Many teachers send notes home to parents and students at the beginning of the year as a means of introducing themselves, sharing information, or describing classroom policies and procedures. Educators can bring these communication tools to life by screencasting themselves reading the letters or narrating the navigation of a website.

EDcamps will be happy to hand out information about an app to participants, but companies should not miss out on the rich opportunity to join the education conversation.

The best site I learned about is I Education Apps Review. They would use a PO to buy bulk purchases straight to Apple which would automatically qualify them for the 50% educator discount. They had to educated the teachers on how to backup their Apps (especially before reimaging the computers over the summer). Specifics?

They also have a special version of Canva for Education that is completely free for educators and students. Some other favorites are Screencastify , Snagit , and Camtasia. See: Copyright Policy. I use Canva every single day! It’s easy to use, and they have a ton of professionally looking templates.
