Scaling Practice-Based Coaching through Micro-credentials

The Friday Institute for Educational Innovation at North Carolina State University recently scaled access to professional learning content for educators by taking advantage of the Massive Open Online Courses for Educators (MOOC-Eds) format. But there wasn’t a clear path to similarly scale the personalized, job-embedded support needed to transfer that content into practice. There are people literally from the other side of the world in our MOOC-Eds.
