Chrome Can: PDFs

Portable Document Format (PDF), is a widely used file type and, therefore, learning how to work with PDFs on a Chromebook is something every student should learn. The tool I like to use the most on my Chromebook to annotate PDFs is called xodo.com. What makes this a great tool for the classroom, is that it integrates with Google Drive.

Making Thinking Visible Using Technology

One way this could happen is in Google Classroom or on a student-created blog. While this might improve some of the thinking made visible as there is a picture to go with the audio, this tool does not enable a conversation directly. The student would need to post their video somewhere for others to comment.

The fifth grade also has access to a cart of Chromebooks.
