College of Computing Professor Ashok Goel and his team used the 40,000 some odd questions that students had asked in previous versions of the course to build out Jill’s knowledge-base. People were relieved that there was a new alternative to Blackboard. What mattered to this crowd was the business of ed-tech, not the pedagogies.
