Should individual teachers have to assess the pros and cons for themselves of systems like Edsby , Google Classroom, Edmodo, Schoology or Moodle? Google Classroom for assignment submission, Twitter for homework notification. And be in compliance with state, provincial and/or federal guidelines. It’s a huge time savings.

Google Classroom, Edmodo, Schoology: They all have a chat feature. As for me, I use the social media aspects of Destiny, my library management software. They are very good at helping each other out and pointing out when students are not following the class-created guidelines. To help students, we need to turn on the chat!
