We manually rebuilt each course half a dozen times or more, in Blackboard, Sakai, Canvas, and other systems. Say, as a purely hypothetical example, that a member of a faculty team accidentally included a copyrighted resource in a collection of OER. This, of course, turned out to be a complete nightmare.
