New Milford High School joined thousands of other schools and educators across the country to showcase how digital learning is changing education. He used an app on his iPad called Educreations to create the lesson. He also had students use Poll Everywhere to check for understanding in the beginning of the lesson.

Just as it is a best practice for educators to model with math and reading and writing for students, it is also a best practice for all tech-savvy stakeholders to model for the tech-tentative. For example, create a live word cloud with AnswerGarden or Poll Everywhere in response to a school-wide question to help focus the discussion.
