One of the first curricular tools I built to share—on the first day of school—was a public, student-friendly gradebook on Google Sheets. Yes, this was before Google Classroom existed!) For example, it didn’t integrate with Google Apps, which we had spent the last three years using. My colleagues had mixed feelings about it too.

It is taking me a while to convert my most popular speeches like “Differentiating Instruction with Technology” to the new software, but after I do, I’m so much happier with the flow of the presentation. It also links with other tools we use like Trello, Google Docs, Dropbox, and more. Very cool tool.
