High schools fail to provide legally required education to students with disabilities

When she dropped out at the end of ninth grade, she didn’t know how to use punctuation or do multiplication. The department did not respond to a request for comment on the rescinded transition guidelines or the administration’s plans for IDEA oversight. Instead, she was passed from class to class at her high school in North Carolina.
