Champions are the organizational mavericks, they exist within a system but are given autonomy to explore alternative, creative solutions. Innovators are interested in new ideas from outside of established local social system. The Maker Movement’s Innovator may also be the Robotic’s Laggard, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
