The ECAR study indicates that most students (appx 80%) do use their smartphones for one or more classes while only 46% consider them “essential for coursework” compared to their laptops at 93%. Such media can be submitted to an e-portfolio or blog (e.g. ANDERSON, T (2003). Voice Recorder, Zoom.us , Skype).
