This is my tenth year teaching, but about four years ago, my building went one-to-one with Google Chromebooks. I was like, “I have got these ChromeBooks. So really the ability to kind of break down barriers, traditional classroom learning barriers, has just been amazing for me and my students. I am going to use them!”

They run on a desktop client, but they have the beta that runs on a browser, so you could run it, say on a Chromebook. Chromebooks only run stuff that’s on browsers. Another one, SineSpace — which is completely web VR based. Edorble.com — which is a virtual environment, a virtual world made for instruction.

Just having those icons up there at the top of the toolbar as places for them to reference. The day that they learned to copy and paste (laughs) was a magical day because they were able to use that Ctrl-C and the Ctrl-V. Of course, we talked about our line tool, how you can use that to create shapes and things like that.
