Leverage an adaptive learning tool if your school or district has purchased a license. Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology).

You can either lurk and learn or develop your own Personal Learning Network (PLN) to farm the best ideas and strategies that are actually working in similar demographics. When using social media, think about the platforms being used and mix it up by mashing together text, hyperlinks, images, and video.

When Ray was my student, I decided to test out gamifying my Greek Mythology Unit by creating a new Edmodo class, chunking the content into small groups, and providing my students with a paper game board to support the blended learning within the unit. Through the Midwest Teachers Institute , I offer four college-credit classes that teach how to blend technology with traditional lesson plans. They include all the ebooks, videos, and other resources required so you don’t spend any more than what is required to register for the class. Everything is online. INTASC 1, 8.
