I am beyond elated – our PreK-6 elementary school received monies, through our district’s Computer Science Resolution 2025, to create a STEAM (science, technology, arts, math) makerspace. Maker education needs to be intentional. I never thought our Title 1 school would get the opportunity to create such a space.

Leah: Well, some of the best tools that I’ve used in the classroom are those that simply enhance the student’s voice. But using the picture and then even using videos from the classroom, and have them use slow-motion and watch it over and over and over again. Now, do you use robots? What about robotics? Leah: We do.
