Difficult decisions have had to be made regarding grading, making funds available to get technology in the hands of disadvantaged kids, getting school work to kids where the digital divide could not be overcome, and figuring out how to provide professional learning support virtually. I especially disagreed with the section below because online tools should not be supplemental, but infused into the curriculum in a meaningful way to support teaching and learning. They also offer various features like gamification and adaptive learning to make assessments more engaging and fun.

For example, "One Teach, One Observe" could be a powerful approach if the observing teacher was capturing learning evidence and taking detailed notes of student moves, rich data that is analyzed by both teachers later.
