We can’t fill the school day with busywork and rote learning and then blame kids’ lack of growth on the fact that they didn’t try hard enough. This is a positive shift, in my opinion, because it helps children develop a growth mindset and believe that success comes through hard work. Let me first define what grit is NOT.
