It is an opportunity to become better at what we do as well as gain knowledge on new pedagogical techniques, learning theories, leadership strategies, technologies, and federal/state mandates. They want the freedom to chart their own learning course while receiving support from the organization to do so. Something has to give though.

If you are going to train teachers, you should have experience with instruction. There is nothing worse than receiving training on a tool that you don’t have access to, or will never get to use. Ex: using a overhead projector, training on a product that is old and has replacement. and no particular order…. So how do you do that?
