K–12 Schools Must Take the Next Steps Toward Digital Maturity

To educate the whole child more effectively, more educators and administrators take advantage of technology.

As K–12 ends one school year and prepares for the next, there are many challenges on the horizon, including teacher burnout and retention, budget shortfalls, learning loss and student behavioral issues. Fortunately, they can inspire forward-thinking administrators and educators toward further digital transformation in schools. The right strategy and technology can help. 

According to PowerSchool’s 2022 “Top District Priorities and Shifts in PK–12 Education” report, which analyzed a survey of more than 3,000 educators and administrators, many others agree. Of the respondents, 34 percent use data to inform whole-child strategy implementation, 33 percent use tech to track student behavior progress, and 28 percent use tech to reinforce positive behavior.
