From Reading to Robotics Recently, our PreK through Grade 12 independent school has been working to include more computer science opportunities across all grade levels. Because we have 10 robots, the classes had to take turns.

Because Guatemala has sporadic wireless access, Sewickley Academy chose the screen-free KIBO as the hands-on coding robot to share with La Puerta Abierta’s young students.

From the perspective of a K-5 tech teacher, this is an exciting time. Everyday new tools come to market.
