Highlighting #EdTech Projects, PD, & Reviewing Quick Tips!

I wanted to close the year with some inspiring projects that I was able to work on with my wonderful colleagues this year: Bullis Tech Blog

I always appreciate the chance to collaborate and work with so many amazing teachers at my school; the above is only a small sampling of some highlights!

I also wanted to share a couple edtech related readings/PD for over the summer. These are just a few general recommendations:

Google specific —
- Google for Education: Training Center
  - free, online training courses designed by Google for Education
  - educator level 1 and educator level 2 available
- Google Apps Learning Center
  - most of this is targeted to the beginner learner
  - the “tips library” is worth checking out if you want to take advantage of some cool shortcuts!
Everything else —
- Free Technology for Teachers | Richard Byrne
  - fantastic edtech blog for ideas and review
- Teacher Tech | Alice Keeler
  - another excellent blog. Alice provides great tutorials, as well.
- The Principal of Change – Stories of learning and leading
  - one of my favorite blogs for reading about pedagogue & the innovator’s mindset
- EdSurge : The Best in Education Technology
  - personally, I Subscribe to EdSurge‘s weekly newsletter and take time to make sure I read it every week.
