When focusing on 1:1, iPads, etc: Focus on teaching teachers to give better feedback and students to self-assess instead of the technology. Good apps for creating tutorials: Explain Everything, Screen Chomp, Educreations District #2 : Revisiting their BYOD initiative. In library they are using stop motion technology to develop stories.

I had a the opportunity to attend a workshop on "5 Minute Mobile Projects" for students at the Midwest Technology conference. He made a great point that technology should not just be a replacement for the pencil, because eventually the computer will be just a another tool students will get tired of using. Our students!
